Roles
  • Procurement of Fabricated (Light / Medium / Heavy / General) & Sheet Metal items, Precision Machined Items, Mechanical Bought outs required for ASRS & other Equipments
Responsibilities
  • Develop new vendors for Heavy fabrication & machined items, Precision Machined Items, General Fabrication & Sheet Metal Parts, Mechanical Bought outs to meet increasing demand & reduce overall cost.
  • Prepare cost estimation to support pre-sales team.
  • Floating RFQ as per the Purchase Requisitions and drawings.
  • Coordination with Vendors and Engineering team for technical clarifications/ requirements.
  • Negotiation with vendors, prepare comparison sheet and getting approval on same.
  • PO placement on successful bidder with required schedule
  • Follow-up with vendors for on time delivery
  • Coordination with QA/stores personnel for various documentation.
  • Co-coordination with accounts for vendor payment
  • Monitoring actual cost VS estimation/ budget and schedules VS receipts.
Authorities
  • Finalization of Terms & Conditions, Price negotiations as per company policy

Requisite Qualification

Essential

  • BE/ DME (Mechanical)

Preferred

  • BE (Mechanical) additional qualification in Materials Management
Requisite Experience

Essential

  • Essential 4 – 5 Years

Preferred

  • Essential 5 – 8 Years
Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge for Heavy fabrication & machining processes, Industry & vendor base/ Good negotiation skills / Vendor Development / P2P cycle & Taxation / Communication / Analytical / Self-Starter
