Roles
  • Troubleshooting support to customer &service technicians.
  • Pre-Sale support for service upgrade projects
  • Designing, programming, documentation of service upgrade projects.
  • Onsite commissioning of service upgrade projects.
  • Maintain service logs for all reported calls.
  • Perform why-why analysis
Responsibilities
  • Analyze problem and execute correctives.
  • Support field technicians for problem solving throughremote.
  • Errors troubleshooting & its documentation.
  • Prepare RCA report for breakdown
  • Identify successor for phased out components & awareness to customer/ service technician.
  • Commissioning & documentation of successor models.
  • Identify opportunities and ideas to improve support time and
    efficiency.
  • Utilize LEAN tools to improve processes and implement change.
  • Support and participate in service business initiatives.
  • Train service technician to improve system uptime.
  • Support to commissioning engineers during commissioning.
  • Understands and follows safety regulations and identifies safety concerns.
  • Provides feedback to CFT team to improve system uptime & reliability.

Requisite Qualification

Essential

  • B.E/ Diploma in Engineering — Instrumentation / Electronics/ Mechatronics/ EXTC

Preferred

  • Bachelor of engineering in above stream.
Requisite Experience

Essential

  • 5years in material handling equipment with min. 2.5 years of site commissioning.

Preferred

  • Intralogistics Automation equipment knowledge would be an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
  • Knowledge of material handling field devices, sensors & electrical component.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, Siemens TIA & Simatic Manager v5.4 & above.
  • Knowledge of configuring, commissioning & troubleshooting of AC VFD’s/ Inverter.
  • Experience of commissioning & troubleshooting of industrial communication system viz. Profibus, Profinet, AS-I, etc.
  • Good technical troubleshooting skills.
